Meet Jann

Vision for Yorktown: Our Town. Our Community. Our Future.

Jann’s leadership approach focuses on three key priorities:

Fiscal Responsibility: Ending overused tax giveaways to developers that shift the tax burden to Yorktown residents while failing to strategically incentivize redevelopment.

Common Sense Development: Balancing growth with preservation to maintain Yorktown’s character while creating opportunities for residents and businesses.

Ethical Governance: Fighting to improve Yorktown’s ethical standards and ensure transparent operations that serve the interests of all residents.

Yorktown Roots

Jann and her husband Rajesh chose Yorktown nearly 20 years ago for its schools, green spaces, and family-friendly atmosphere. Both of their grown children are proud Yorktown High School graduates.

As a business owner and mother, Jann brings proven project management skills to every challenge. She takes a long-range view while effectively handling immediate issues, remaining a calming influence when facing difficult situations.

A Leader for All of Yorktown

Yorktown needs leadership that engages all residents: young families and seniors, newcomers and longtime locals. Yorktown deserves a Town Board that is transparent, open, and works for everyone.

Jann believes in a Yorktown where community comes first—where decisions are made with the best interests of residents in mind, not special interests. Her leadership will honor our past while building toward a brighter future for all who call Yorktown home.

Our Town. Our Community. Our Future. This isn’t just a tagline—it’s Jann’s commitment to serving Yorktown.
